Kathryn Bigelow between Hollywood and Critical Art Theory
In her lecture Lucie Kolb will confront the different contexts in which the name "Kathryn Bigelow" appears. On the one hand, this is the field of commercial cinema, where she is present as one of the very few successful female film directors. On the other, she was active in the field of art theory and in 1976 also a collaborator of the Marxist conceptualist group Art & Language.
Lucie Kolb is an artist based in Zurich and Vienna.
